Terms and conditions - January 2026
- The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before drop-off/pick-up with Fandabadoggy to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric Torsion).
- Dogs will be subject to an assessment for health and behaviour. Fandabadoggy reserves the right to refuse the service at our discretion.
- We do not accept dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act (1991).
- The client will not enrol any dog with Fandabadoggy that has any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other dogs or people or has had any potentially communicable condition within 21 days prior to enrolment. The client also understands that even if their dog is vaccinated for Kennel Cough there is a chance that Kennel Cough can still be contracted. Dogs with fleas or any other parasite or communicable disease present will not be permitted.
- Insurance is provided by Pet Business Insurance Limited and covers Dog walking and pet sitting and minding. Copies of the insurance schedule and policy are available on request. By enrolling their dog using the supplied form, the client agrees that this level of insurance is appropriate and indemnify Fandabadoggy of any costs not covered by Pet Business Insurance for any reason.
- You are strongly advised to insure your pet for all eventualities. Your dog will be supervised and cared for in line with Fandabadoggy’s risk assessments and procedures, however, the client understands that their dog(s) may sustain accidental injuries and agrees to cover any associated veterinary fees that are not covered by our insurance.
- We reserve the right to act in the best interests of the dog at all times, this includes seeking veterinary advice if he/she becomes ill or injured. We will contact you immediately in this case. If you cannot be contacted within a reasonable time we reserve the right to seek appropriate veterinary attention and proceed with treatment regardless of costs, which you agree to cover should the insurer fail to. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon collection of their dog, or by other agreement with the veterinary service used.
- Fandabadoggy reserves the right to act on personal judgement in relation to walk location, duration and conditions. This may be affected by factors such as weather conditions, livestock, wild animals and other users of the outdoors, eg. Farmers and estate workers. Safety of dog(s) and dog walker will be the prime concern.
- Fandabadoggy is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items that accompany the dog(s), eg. Collars, leads, jackets.
- The Client agrees that, by providing access to property, this will indemnify Fandabadoggy in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents.
- All dogs being group-walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.
- Fandabadoggy will inform the client of any incident or anything which Fandabadoggy notices about the dog(s), which as dog owners the client ought to know.
- Fandabadoggy recommends owners check their dog(s) for ticks for a period of time after walking. Advice will be provided for those unfamiliar with ticks, however this does not replace professional veterinary opinion or treatment.
- No variation of these terms and Conditions will have effect unless confirmed by Fandabadoggy in writing.
- You consent to photographs of your dog(s) being used for marketing purposes, eg. on my website or on social media. Feel free to opt out, just let me know via email.
- The mileage fee is the standard hourly rate for the duration of the return journey as estimated by google maps, rounded to the nearest pound.
